KOHAKU Tendon S$15 (option of Original / Spicy Sauce)

Tempura vegetables, chicken, ebi and other seafood topped on soft and fluffy Nanatsuboshi rice which is imported from Hokkaido.

As this is the second Edomae Tendon in Singapore (as far as I know), people may tend to compare. I like the tempura items on the tendon here better as compared to the one at Tanjong Pagar. However, the other outlet's tendon comes with a half boiled egg as well as chawanmushi by the side. It will be perfect if Kohaku can add in egg option in future!

The tempura stays crispy even though I took a while for picture taking and slowly chewing my food.

And patrons have the option to have it with their original homemade sauce or spicy sauce. Spicy sauce gives a fiery kick, its indeed spicy. Although I prefer the original sauce, I don't mind going back for the spicy one if I frequent often.

Udon (make it a set, top up S$4.50 to your tendon)

Udon on the other hand is decent and nothing fantastic.

Thank you Kohaku for the invitation!
