Bakerzin launched its range of Lunar New Year cookies, tarts, cakes as well as dine-in menu. I will do another post on the dine-in menu soon.
This year there are a total of 9 different cookies, 2 special pineapple tarts and 2 exceptional cakes which are ideal for gifting and a must-haves at family gathering or office party.
Vanilla & Chocolate Cake S$28/450g S$52/900g
A new item on the list, apparently Surabaya Cake seems to be very famous but I only know what is Kek Lapis though. The only common thing I see between them both, is lots of eggs are used in making them. Surabaya Cake uses about 30 eggs which is the same as Kek Lapis which I make at home.
There is raspberry jam in the middle of both vanilla and chocolate cake.
Vanilla & Coffee Cake S$26/325g S$48/650g
The lighter one is the Vanilla & Coffee Cake, with chocolate ganache filling.
Parmesan Cheese Pineapple Tarts S$29.80/box of 21 pieces
Traditional Yuan Bao Pineapple Tarts S$29.80/box of 21 pieces
Good Luck Cookies S$29.80/box of 72 pieces (8 pieces per flavour, 9 flavours)
The 9 cookies flavours are namely:
Personally love the Lovely Lavvy which is has subtle hints of lavender, and Rosey Posie which is not difficult to guess, its rose flavour.
Parmesan Cheese Pineapple Tarts S$29.80/box of 21 pieces
New item this year, the marriage between salty Parmesan cheese, pineapple filling and buttery crust is LOVE.
Traditional Yuan Bao Pineapple Tarts S$29.80/box of 21 pieces
Back by popular demand, my mum is one of its supporter, mainly also due to its yuan bao shape.
There are also Auspicious Bundle Deals like 1 box of Parmesan Cheese Pineapple Tarts & Traditional Yuan Bao Pineapple Tarts for S$48 instead of the usual S$59.60, which is quite worth the deal. Do check them out at Bakerzin!
Cake + Beverage set S$9.80++
The other day with my heavily pregnant BFF. Available only on Mondays to Fridays 2-6pm.
We had Mango Mousse cake and New York Cheesecake.
Thank you Bakerzin for sending me the CNY goodies!
