Sistas cafe hopping day out! We decided to go to The Lokal, pardon the bad pictures as its bad lighting n here. Same as the lighting in my kitchen :(

We decided to pimp our own breakfast, where we mix and match the ingredients ourselves!


Pumpernickel Bread S$4 | Poached Eggs S$6 | Grilled Mushrooms S$4 | Smoked Salmon S$6 | Sauteed Potatoes S$5 = S$25

Hot Chocolate S$6 + Iced S$1 = S$7

Mocha S$6 + Iced S$1 = S$7

Latte S$5.50



So this plate of simple looking breakfast comes up to S$25, which is quite costly in my opinion. Even the iced drinks cost a S$7.

Nonetheless, the company is great! And the 3 of us shared this plate of breakfast, so I don't really feel the pinch in my pockets. >_<



And lastly Eileen made us Ondeh Ondeh, but so little! How to fill the tummy!

On 16th August 2014 Saturday, we attended this Fiji Food Truck event with both my sistas.
Bee was invited and Eileen as usual, won some vouchers to the food truck, so we all went together. Lucky K & myself get to eat and skip the queue.



More than 500 people flocked down to try The Lime Truck's dishes on Friday & Saturday and all proceeds of S$9821 went to the Willing Hearts Charity! *claps*



Each dish will be complemented by a bottle of Fiji Water, my favourite brand of water!



Taco with Blue Crab and Jicama S$10 

The ''taco'' is actually radish, a very refreshing dish I would say.



Fresh Fish Ceviche Tostada S$10 

My favourite among the 3, because I love the huge chuck of fresh fish, very appetising!



Braised Pork Belly Taco with Tomatillo Pico De Gallo and Sriracha S$10

The pork belly is tender, and no bad smell of pork.

Throwback to a month ago when sista bee was heading to Ipoh for a short trip.

Impromtu meet up at the airport for breakfast with her & Eileen.

Service was a little slow, it is a 24 hour cafe and it happen that 6.30am they cleared all the breads and waiting to replace new breads. We asked what time will they replace with freshly baked breads, they told us 7am. However we waited till 7.15am, no news, no breads.

1 of us is rushing for a flight, I am rushing off to attend a course at Toa Payoh…

Finally when they were placing the breads, we placed our orders. We asked if they have the sweet bacon roll, they said don't have. Halfway when eating, I saw someone's tray with sweet bacon roll. Oh wells, never mind. Next time.

Met up with a bunch of fun-loving instagrammers for a meal at The Providore!



We've got presents omg! From 2 sweet ladies whom now became close friends with me, we chat almost daily on whatsapp!

For the food: I dislike them all. Too saltish and not much taste. Well, I enjoyed the company though.
