Belated mother's day dinner

Due to some reasons, brother & I gave mummy a belated mother's day dinner. :D

Same old thing, dinner at EP's Paradise Inn as they are lazy to even head to Tampines.

The coffeeshop near bf;s house reopened after some renovations. Now the coffeeshop is packed every evening/night, compared to previously - dead town, They now have CharGrill! They used to have Botak Jones, but I guess business is bad as previously the coffeeshop is very empty.

Mushroom soup : very thick and bland.

Well, I have to say the service here is very slow and messed up. I saw them serving bf's order (steak with exactly the same side dishes) to another customer, but the customer did not find anything amiss. After he ate about 50%, the customer went to the staff and told them they served the wrong dish -_- why so dumb?

The staff served us that customer's order. We told him its a wrong order, he did not take back the sides, he left it on our table. He came back and asked if we can make do with this sides. Sigh, can't he just changed the sides for us. Doesn't cost them much. So in the end, he gave the sides to that customer. Ok, in summary, they are always serving the wrong food to the customers.

Marutama Ramen!

Into the month of June now! Snacking at work (as usual).

Finally meet up with darling for ramen at the much raved about Marutama.

We went to the one at Central (Clarke Quay).

Whenever I eat Char Siew Ramen, I will at most eat 1-2 pieces of Char Siew. But the Char Siew is very nice! It is very soft but i find it a little too saltish.

Ramen! I ordered the non spicy, while darling ordered the spicy one, and she added more chilli powder into her ramen. I had a bad cough so I can only stick to my non spicy ramen.

I love those eggs in the ramen. Very nice!

Starbucks after that. Too bad i was feeling sick and had not much appetite at all, i wasted half bowl of ramen.

Jennifer's Wedding @ Peony Jade

Its Jennifer's wedding dinner! She held her dinner at Clarke Quay's Peony Jade. If you surf forums on wedding dinner restaurants, many people recommended Peony Jade. I personally feel the food is so-so, and initially they took long time to serve the food and in the end, they were in a rush - haven't had time to finish my food, and they served the next dish. There are a total of 21-22 tables and its rather cramp.

Anyway, the pictures :) not nicely taken, most pictures are blur :(
